On Friday, 15 December 2017, you have fantastic opportunity to visit Metsä Group bioproduct mill or Stora Enso Innovation Centre for Packaging. Below you will find the basic info for these, please note that each has a dedicated contact person you can contact for more information.


Visit to Metsä Group bioproduct mill in Äänekoski, Finland

Metsä Group's next-generation bioproduct mill in Äänekoski, in Central Finland came into operation on 15 August 2017. With a value of EUR 1.2 billion, the bioproduct mill is the largest investment in the history of the Finnish forest industry. In addition to high-quality pulp, it will produce a broad range of bioproducts, such as tall oil, turpentine, biogas and bioenergy.

Note that Metsä Group will arrange bus transportation for the route Helsinki-Äänekoski-Helsinki. In case you wish to take a flight from Jyväskylä to Helsinki (15.00-15.45 AY645), please note you need to arrange and pay for your flight.
